Weight Loss
Or how to lose fat? is one of my most commonly asked questions, Now its a very easy concept but a difficult thing to do because it takes discipline, persistence and a lot of patience as there is no fast lane to that dream body we all long for. Below are my tricks and tips on how to lose fat that have helped me and many of my clients achieve their fat loss goals.
Firstly, WHY? Why do you want to lose fat? What's your motivation for doing so? Knowing your why is a crucial step towards your goal as it's what's going to motivate you when times are tough. Keep that why in the forefront of your mind to burn your ambition on burning that fat. Every day remind yourself about the why and that will keep you pushing forward, taking that extra step, choosing the healthier food option, doing that extra lap.
Secondly, Try not to get bogged down with the science being "Is it better do a run after food or before food?" "after training or before". Yes, in certain scenarios picking when to do your cardio and how much willmake a difference but for the beginner it really doesn't matter as long as your doing something. Also keep the basic method of kcal expenditure vs kcal consumption, i.e you need to burn more kcals then you eat.
Plateau,
At some point in your Fat Loss journey you are going to hit "The Wall" this mean your body has hit it's plateau. It happens to everyone and is an easy problem to solve as your body adapts fairly quickly to the demands placed against it, therefore, you'll have to step up your game little by little, run an extra 10 minutes, eat 100 kcals less today then you did yesterday. Little by little keep pushing the boundaries, push through your plateaus to keep your fat loss on point. By adding supplements into your programme will help to achieve your goal quicker!
My go to supplement is Antidote as it helps fuel my cardio, keeping my body burning kcals for longer.
