Training During Lockdown

Training During Lockdown

Finding the motivation to train during lockdown seems to be the hardest thing to find, I've been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and I have never know anything like 2020.

Myself and many of my clients have struggled during the lockdowns to find the motivation to keep on track with training and nutrition, In these times self discipline holds a lot of value set a time your going to training and stick to it be disciplined enough to say "this is my time now" take 1 hour out of the day put your music on and go through your training routine, having a workout wrote down and on hold for your workout makes it easier to keep as your have a start and finish.

Home workout can be tricky due to lack of equipment so you'll have to come up with alternatives such as water bottles for weights, chairs for dips, bands and kettlebells are also great to have for your home gym.

Nutrition on the other hand is a day long battle with yourself not just go and binge, The way I prevent myself from binging is to simply not have it in the house do not buy what I don't want to eat also prep good wholesome food and keep them in the fridge for when hunger strikes. making things as simple as possible really does help don't overthink it anything it better then nothing few squats fast walk is better then the unwanted bag of crisps you didn't want but had due to boredom.
